Yankton, South Dakota, may not be known for its jet-setting scene, but it's where my love for adventure began. Fast forward to 2018, a move to the Bay Area, and a fateful encounter at Google - that's where I met Waheed.

We started navigating the complex world of credit card points together, quickly realizing its potential for unlocking incredible travel experiences. Soon, friends and family were bombarding us with questions, eager to learn the travel hacking ropes and chase their own dreams.

That's how Point Wander was born. Fueled by our shared love of exploration and a desire to make travel dreams a reality, we created a one-stop resource dedicated to helping you maximize your points and embark on unforgettable journeys.

In 2015, I began an exciting new chapter by moving from Toronto to Winona, MN, to pursue my studies. It was here that I first encountered U.S. credit cards, and as a student, I quickly recognized the importance of building a credit history in the States. Initially drawn to cashback cards, my curiosity soon led me into the fascinating world of points and miles. 

Over the past nine years, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to numerous countries, all thanks to the strategic use of points and miles. Along the way, I’ve shared my insights with friends and family, helping them achieve their travel dreams at minimal cost. This journey has not only enriched my own life but also empowered others to explore the world. 

Now, alongside Cameron, I’m excited to build a venture dedicated to helping even more people fulfill their travel aspirations and embark on their dream vacations.
